At the heart of this community is Taino Farm: a working organic farm in Los Brazos, Dominican Republic, where members, guests, local farmers and families come together around shared values of sustainability, care, and joy. Francisco was born and raised in Haiti, into a family of farmers whose knowledge of the land runs deep across generations. From a young age, he learned to read the soil, identify wild plants, and understand the cycles of tropical nature — wisdom that was never written down, only lived.
He has now made Los Brazos his home, bringing with him a rare and encyclopaedic knowledge of tropical flora, medicinal herbs, and fruit cultivation. A walking library of the Caribbean's natural heritage, Francisco knows the name, the flavour, the use, and the healing power of every plant that grows on the property.
On your farm tour, Francisco will welcome you with a freshly harvested coco verde — a cool, sweet green coconut cut open right before your eyes. A small gesture that carries the warmth and generosity of everything this land stands for.

Originally native to the Amazon rainforest of Brazil, the Abiu (Pouteria caimito) is one of the most prized fruits in tropical gastronomy — and Greene Hart Gardens is the only place on the entire island of Hispaniola where you can find it.

Inspired by Froebelian principles and child-led learning, Gillian creates nurturing outdoor environments where children feel connected, curious, and free to thrive. She is trained in observing children within authentic experiences, knowing when to gently guide, challenge, or simply hold space for discovery.
Davie brings a wealth of experience in music, creativity, wellbeing, and community building to Blossom. His gift is creating an environment where every family feels genuinely welcomed, seen, and connected — transforming a group of strangers into a thriving community. Alongside Gillian, he has helped shape a programme where joy, adventure, and deep human connection are as central to learning as any formal curriculum.
A mother of three and homeschooler at heart, Natali has spent over 10 years immersed in alternative and child-led education — accompanying her own children and many others through their most formative years. Alongside her family, she spent 8 years travelling across South America, working in several free schools as a guide and facilitating learning through real life, creativity, and nature.
Natali's world is art, healthy cooking, and the garden. She is passionate about growing food from seed to plate — tending the huerto with care and turning the harvest into nourishing, joyful meals that bring people together.
